My parents love the zoo. My mom in particular. They are zoo club members, so whenever we come home, they make it a point to take a trip to the zoo. Last time we came, there was still snow on the ground, and they were remodeling. A lot of the attractions were either still under construction, or closed, and so it wasn't a very exciting time. This time however, not only was all the construction done, most of the animals were out and active. It was a great time.
The carousel was a new attraction. The kids enjoyed riding up and down, and I just got to hold on to them so they wouldn't fall.... I wasn't worried they'd fall, but the zoo had rules that kids under a certain height (mine of course) had to have someone holding them at all times.
Since we got here,
Tayzia has just been off and running. She was taking several steps here and there before we left, but now she walks everywhere. I put some shoes on her, then Grandpa thought he'd try walking her around the zoo. She isn't too steady with shoes on her feet but she sure had fun with Grandpa!
Notice that my kids are all wearing jackets??? Yeah, since I didn't pack any, my mom and dad went out and bought not only a jacket for each kid, but some blankets as well! Thanks mom and dad. (on a sadder note,
Corben took his jacket off halfway through the zoo trip, and well, we never saw it again..... sorry mom and dad).

ented a wagon for the kids, because honestly, we thought we'd get a lot of whining otherwise. They thought it was cool to be pulled around. Aren't they spoiled?

Looks as though you have had alot of fun while you have been in town. We love going to the ZOO as well. Kaylee loves the Monkey's. Anyway it is fun to see what you have enjoyed while you have been here.
