It's baseball season for the Stokes family! Corben had fun, but didn't really get much from basketball, and we were hoping baseball would be better for him. His first practice was terrible. He refused to go out, and he sat by the fence for the entire hour complaining that he didn't know what to do. Even with me telling him that his coaches would teach him, he didn't budge. I of course worried that this would be basketball all over again, that he wouldn't want to play, and he'd be too shy to go out. Well, we took him to the field with another friends family one morning, and he worked with Corben, and voila! Now Corben loves to go out and play, he isn't shy or scared, just excited. He's doing so much better, and I'm so excited to see him in his first game on Saturday. Now our problems during practice is Rylissa complaining that she can't go out and play with them! There's always next season sweetie!
