It's beginning to look a lot like.......cold

As I prepared to come out here, I asked about the weather. I was assured that while it will be cooler than in Japan, it would be nice weather throughout my stay. So I packed long pants and warmer shirts, but I didn't bother to pack any jackets. Of course since I didn't pack them it turns out I would need them! Welcome to winter. I spent the rest of that day trying to explain that just because there was snow, didn't mean that Santa was coming tonight!
