Our Fourth at the Beach!

We spent most of our Fourth at home, me taking a nap, and Tim and the kids playing games. Tayzia still isn't sleeping well at night, and I'm still running daily on about 3 hours of sleep. So the idea of going out in the hot sun, just didn't excite us. Anyway, around 4 we finally left, and went to a BBQ Tim's boss was having. It was perfect. The clouds were starting to move in, so we weren't too hot, and we were on the beach, so the kids played around in the water. This is Tayzia with her pal Nathaniel. He's about a month younger than her, and they love to sit near each other. It's cute.
Corben is so funny. He can't stand getting wet. If you get a drop of water on his shirt, he has to change. He screams and freaks out when he has to wash his hair during the bath, yet he's perfectly comfortable in the ocean. Go figure.

Corben and Lissa, having fun. that's their friend Katie, Nathaniels older sister. It was definitely a very fun evening. We had barbecued steaks for dinner, I made a 4th of July cake, and the kids that were there found a crab. We also had one of the girls get stung by a jellyfish, but it wasn't bad, she was off playing in no time. All in all, a great time!
